Professional Hands Free Carkit installation

If you want a professional car kit installation at your home, office or any other convenient location, at a very reasonable cost, look no further than Wearside Communications. We always give the customer the option of a 'no holes' mounting bracket, an external glass mount or internal T-Bar antenna, if required, plus integration into the existing car audio system to give you stereo muting and excellent audio through your car speakers.

Wearside Communications can install anywhere in the North of England and have excellent sub-contractors to provide you with a professional installation service anywhere in the country.

Just call the telephone number above to arrange for the installation to be booked (you will be advised at the time of booking if the location is unsuitable). We usually require only three working days notice to arrange an installation and are unlikely to exceed five days, but this will be dependent on engineer & parts availability.

We would normally book an arrival time of All Day, AM or PM for our technician, but more precise times can be arranged if necessary, but please allow additional time for the install to be completed. If your carkit is a standard model, the install will usually take up to 1.5 hours.

Our engineers work to a strict code of practice, FCS1362. They will always check your vehicle's electrics and discusses the details of the installation including cradle, microphone, and speaker position with you, if you are available, before the installation proceeds. Once agreed, the following work will be carried out:

Fitting the central control box.
Installing the device cradle using a 'no holes' mounting bracket so that if the car kit is removed at a later date, no holes are visible afterwards.
Making the necessary electrical connections.
Fixing an antenna if required.
Integration into the car audio system to allow listening to calls through the car speakers, and stereo muting when a call is received.
Testing of the installed kit and checking your car electrics again.

While the above is a standard install, your car, handsfree kit or your preferences may mean the actual installation differs slightly.

Please be advised that a cancellation fee of £40 will be charged if access to the vehicle is not possible for reasons beyond our control, less than 24 hours notice is received to change the appointment date/time, cover is not available in poor weather conditions (mainly to protect your vehicle), or the Terms & Conditions of service have not been met.


Please inform us if there is an existing car kit installed, as this will need to be removed prior to installation of a new kit.
